**Job Title: Inventory Manager**
**Job Description**
This position entails a blend of office work and hands-on material management. You will spend approximately half of your time ordering steel and maintaining meticulous records of inventory levels, while the other half involves operating a forklift to manage and organize materials in the yard. This role is essential for ensuring that the company maintains optimal steel levels to avoid overordering and unnecessary expenses.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manage steel inventory by ordering and tracking inventory levels.
+ Operate a forklift to organize materials in the yard.
+ Ensure efficient use of steel resources to minimize costs.
+ Maintain accurate records of steel usage and inventory.
+ Organize materials to optimize workflow and storage.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience in inventory management and control.
+ Proficiency in data entry and order entry.
+ Experience in shipping and receiving.
+ Knowledge of logistics and material handling.
+ Forklift operation experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in cycle counts.
+ Ability to handle warehouse inventory.

**Pay and Benefits**
