Our client, a leading distributor specializing in metalworking and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) products and services, is seeking a dedicated Inventory Data Collection Associate to join their team. As an Inventory Data Collection Associate, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations team, supporting inventory accuracy and data integrity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to work, which will enable you to succeed and grow within the organization.
**Job Title:** Inventory Data Collection Associate
**Location:** East Aurora, NY
**Pay Range:** $25/hour
**Shift:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
**What's the Job?**
+ Collect and accurately enter item data into Excel-style spreadsheets
+ Perform precise cycle counts of inventory to ensure data accuracy
+ Adhere to project timelines and meet deliverables efficiently
+ Provide exceptional service to build and maintain strong customer relationships
+ Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned
**What's Needed?**
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, and filtering
+ Strong computer literacy, including familiarity with email and internet browsers
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Outstanding customer service skills
+ Hands-on experience with inventory management or in industrial/warehouse environments is preferred
