Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cycle Counter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive verification of products within SAP and Excel spreadsheets, and operate forklifts across various warehouse locations, including racks, bulk storage, lineside, and specialized departments. Your main objective will be ensuring accurate alignment of inventory data and maintaining data integrity by resolving discrepancies in inventory records.

ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive verification of products within SAP and Excel spreadsheets.Operate forklifts across various warehouse locations, including racks, bulk storage, lineside, and specialized departments.Ensure accurate alignment of inventory data by cross-checking contents against manufacturing labels, including validation of part numbers and quantities.Maintain data integrity by identifying and resolving discrepancies in inventory records.Conduct regular cycle counts and partner with Inventory Analyst on numbers.Transport raw materials, parts, and finished products throughout the facility to designated areas, including the production floor, warehouse, and shipping areas.Supply production lines with materials needed to meet manufacturing schedules.Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.Properly label and store materials in assigned locations, optimizing space and ensuring easy accessibility.Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, adhering to all safety guidelines.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety procedures and OSHA regulations.Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.Participate in efforts to improve material handling processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.Essential SkillsProficiency in material handling and RF scanner operations.Experience with cycle counts and inventory management.Forklift operation and loading skills.Ability to operate pallet jacks.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in an HVAC or manufacturing environment.1-2 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role.Familiarity with ERP systems, EPICOR is a plus.High school diploma or equivalent.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Knowledge of HVAC systems or manufacturing processes is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The role requires physical ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching as needed. You may need to climb portable ladders and use personal protection equipment. The position requires good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
