Job Title: Inventory Coordinator

Job Description

An Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing stock levels, ensuring accuracy, and overseeing the flow of goods from receiving to dispatch. This role requires the use of software like WMS/ERP to track items, conduct audits (such as cycle counts), resolve discrepancies, and support purchasing. The aim is to meet demand while minimizing costs and waste through strong organizational and detail-oriented work.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain inventory levels to ensure accuracy.Oversee the flow of goods from receiving to dispatch.Use WMS/ERP software to track inventory items.Conduct regular audits, such as cycle counts, to ensure inventory accuracy.Resolve any discrepancies in inventory records.Support the purchasing team to align stock levels with demand.Perform data entry and generate reports for inventory management.Coordinate with sales and purchasing teams to maintain precise records.

Essential Skills

Proven experience in inventory coordination or a similar role.Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory software.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Warren, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
