Inventory Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Coordinator to join a mission-driven organization dedicated to making a positive impact. This role is critical in ensuring materials and components are available to support production schedules while maintaining optimal inventory levels and managing purchasing activities for assigned commodities or vendors.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.\n- Perform regular cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate records in ERP/MRP systems.\n- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and quality teams to track material usage and availability.\n- Generate inventory reports and analyze trends to improve forecasting accuracy and inventory turnover.\n- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.\n- Issue purchase orders, confirm acknowledgments, and follow up on delivery schedules.\n- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.\n- Maintain accurate supplier and inventory data in ERP systems.\n- Assist in developing reorder points, lead times, and safety stock parameters.\n- Identify and implement process improvements to increase inventory accuracy and efficiency.\n- Support lean manufacturing and just-in-time (JIT) initiatives.\n- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align materials planning with production and sales forecasts.\n- Partner with Quality and Purchasing teams to onboard new suppliers.\n- Perform other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\n\n- High school diploma or equivalent required.\n- Minimum one year of purchasing and ERP experience.\n- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.\n- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.\n- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
