Inventory Coordinator
Job Title: 3rd Shift Inventory Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking an Inventory Coordinator responsible for managing assigned inventories across various departments. This role requires conducting periodic inventory counts, adjusting quantities and locations, and reporting discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have strong abilities in identifying electrical and mechanical parts, tracking parts usage, and creating inventory logs. You will also be responsible for setting minimum and maximum quantities and separating inventory by equipment manufacturer using a scan method.

ResponsibilitiesManage assigned inventories for different departments.Conduct periodic inventory counts and adjust quantities and locations.Report discrepancies in inventory records.Identify electrical and mechanical parts and track their usage.Locate parts and create detailed inventory logs.Create minimum and maximum quantity thresholds.Separate inventory by equipment manufacturer using scanning methods.Essential SkillsInventory control and management expertise.Proficiency in using forklifts and material handling equipment.Experience in shipping and receiving.Warehouse inventory management skills.Familiarity with tool crib operations.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to deliver tools using a cart or bike when needed.Experience with sit-down forklifts, both gas and electric, specifically Hyster brand.Capability to manage and keep inventory of tools in the maintenance cage area.Trainable in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Content Management Systems (CMS) as per company requirements.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The role is based in a large distribution center covering over 3 million square feet. The work environment includes shifts and requires the use of specific equipment such as carts, bikes, and forklifts. Employees are expected to adhere to safety protocols and collaborate effectively with the maintenance team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Moreno Valley, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
