Position Summary:
This role leads the effective supervision and administration of the distribution centres inventory management and compliance program. All supply chain activities from inbound freight scheduling, receipt, inventory management, quality incidents and audits are supported by this leader.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this candidate’s mandate is to ensure the highest levels of inventory accuracy and standard processes and policies are followed and adhered to daily.
Salary Range
$80,000 to $85,000 annually +10% bonus

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Inventory Management
Leads the local inventory compliance team, ensuring that they are properly resourced, trained and organized to maintain the highest levels of assured supplyResponsible for the oversight and administration of Martin Brower’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) from an inventory management perspectivLeads oversight of Phase In Phase Outs, New product Introductions, Slotting and expired productMonitors damage and distress program and ensures all defective product are allocated and coded to responsible party. Ensures processes maintained and followed by all employeesLeads standard receiving processes for quality and accuracy. Monitors all receivers for productivity and accuracyRuns standard system reports across multiple system to maintain system data integrityLiaise with Supply Chain team to optimize through put, storage and capacityLeads reconciliation of inventory discrepancies with emphasis on financial performance of the centreQualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree, post graduate degree or technical certification3-5 years experience within a food handling Distribution/Processing System preferably servicing the restaurant tradeExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of employees, management, and customerStrong strategic thinker and influencing skillsProblem solver with the ability to clearly define actions and deliverablesCritical thinker with an eye for identifying irregularities and exceptionsExcellent presentation and analytical skillsAbility to hold team and self-accountable to performance standards and coach where requiredHigh initiative, self-motivation with a strong sense of urgency and leadership qualities including a positive approach to managing and interacting with stakeholders internal and externalAdvanced computer software skills with MS Office suite of programsWillingness to travel up to 20% for periods of time - Primarily Canada & USThis position must pass a post-offer background and drug testPreferred Skills and Experience:
