Inventory Control Logistics Specialist

What You Will Do:

Leads in researching discrepancies in cycle counts 

Assists shipping departments with problems with pallet tickets 

Collaborates with QC at the plant to maintain material and batch accuracy  

Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes 

Stores shipping materials and supplies to maintain an inventory of stock

Performs data entry to release, move into location, or adjust inventory through computer software 

Addresses departmental paperwork and conducts physical searches/research of missing products  

Uses a warehouse management system and prepares accurate bills for outbound freight 

Performs a minimum of 500 bin physical cycle counts per shift daily

Works with establishment representatives to rectify problems such as damages, shortages, and non-conformance to specifications

Tracks departmental data and generates applicable reports as needed 

Maintains a clean and safe work environment  

Performs other duties as assigned  

Position Details:

Location: McDonough, GA Warehouse

Work week and shift: 2nd shift Monday - Friday 2pm – 10pm

Compensation: $23.80 per hour with some OT

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED

1 year of experience in an administrative, inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, production, or supply chain support role

1 year of working within a manufacturing or warehouse environment

1 year of previous Raymond stand-up forklift operating experience

1 year of research and reporting analytics

1 year of working knowledge of SAP, WMS, and MS Programs

Excellent communication and mathematical skills

Excellent attention to detail

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs

Must be able to pass a drug screen

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field 

Previous experience in a warehouse, transportation, shipping, and receiving-related capacity

Previous experience in a customer service position

Experience with Total Production Management (TPM) & Continuous Improvement Systems 

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask

Excellent attention to detail, good communication skills, and a team player

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $44,400.00 - $66,600.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
