Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and distribution industry in Lyndhurst VA, is seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Clerk to join their team. As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management in an office setting and shipping processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.
**Job Title:** Inventory Control Clerk
**Location:** Lyndhurst, VA
**Pay Range: $19.50**
**Shift:** 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
**What's the Job?**
+ Use computer systems to manage inventory data and perform data entry tasks
+ Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping requests to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped
+ Prepare and verify shipping labels and documentation for outbound shipments, including international shipments
+ Conduct daily cycle counts, inventory audits, and generate inventory reports
+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations and ensuring inspection readiness
**What's Needed?**
+ Minimum of one year experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
+ High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
+ Basic computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Office
+ Attention to detail and high organizational skills
+ Ability to communicate effectively via verbal and written channels
