**Inventory Control Specialist- 24/hr**
**Job Description**
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of inventory processes. This role involves maintaining product identification programs, researching and correcting inventory discrepancies, and controlling aged products. The successful candidate will also monitor stock counts, reconcile physical inventories, and produce reports for consolidation.
**Responsibilities**
+ Monitor and control inventory integrity.
+ Maintain product identification program.
+ Research inventory discrepancies and make necessary corrections.
+ Log and control aged product.
+ Monitor stock counts and physical inventory; reconcile.
+ Produce partial pallet report for consolidation.
+ Determine daily tasks, workloads, and coordinate staffing in conjunction with the inventory supervisor.
+ Delegate warehouse tasks in assigned areas with the inventory supervisor.
+ Follow all SOPs and safety procedures.
+ Perform all other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 1-2 years of experience in inventory control, with warehouse experience preferred.
+ Good interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
+ Ability to operate a variety of equipment, including a computer.
+ Strong organizational, inventory, and accounting skills.
+ Physical ability to consistently lift up to sixty pounds, and perform tasks in various weather conditions.
+ Forklift operation experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 2-4 years of related inventory experience.

**Work Environment**
The work environment includes a schedule with AM/PM shifts, spanning four different periods: Sunday to Tuesday, 6 AM to 6 PM, and Wednesday to Saturday, 6 AM to 6 PM. The role requires physical activities such as standing, bending, and rotating motions. Employees may also be required to perform tasks in inclement weather conditions. Safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain a secure working environment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of New Albany, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
