Manage over 200 post-production accessories, including new part implementation, parts ordering, quality and waste management, warehouse coordination, and inventory reconciliation. The role requires working closely with vendors, logistics partners, and end users to address unexpected demand changes, back orders, inventory discrepancies, delivery delays, and customs issues. You will also monitor inventory record accuracy through cycle counts across three plants, identify root causes of discrepancies, and implement corrective measures to ensure inventory accuracy and financial control.
ResponsibilitiesBuild and execute an inventory plan to ensure efficient part management.Perform cycle counts across different plants to verify inventory system accuracy.Maintain the parts ordering system and track any damaged parts or ordering shortages.Collaborate with parts ordering, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure timely movement of parts.Provide technical support using MS Office, Oracle Hyperion, IBM AS400, and DOP to enhance operational efficiency.Lead model changeover activities, including stock reduction and new part preparation.Coordinate with installation teams, engineers, and vendors to resolve quality concerns promptly.
Essential SkillsProficient in inventory management and cycle counts.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel, including chart creation, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables.Experience in logistics, supply chain, and inventory control.Technical proficiency with PowerBI and Microsoft Access.Understanding of MRP or ERP ordering systems.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with AS400 and vendor management.Ability to drive to Woodstock 1-2 times per week.
Work Environment
The role is based out of a rail yard building separate from the plant, with a smaller office shared with three other Inventory Control Analysts and a Team Lead. The candidate will frequently travel between three plants to conduct cycle counts. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience and transition into other roles within the Materials group, Production Control, and Logistics.
