Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Clerk to join our dynamic team. As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in managing material demand coordination, line feeding, warehouse interfacing, and inventory control to ensure seamless production operations.
Responsibilities
Review production schedules and material demand to identify shortages and prioritize material movements across the warehouse, staging, and line feeding.Communicate real-time updates and risks to production teams.Deliver materials to production lines using kanban, min/max, or consumption signals.Monitor point-of-use inventory and trigger replenishment before shortages occur.Manage material returns, container flow, and ensure FIFO rotation.Coordinate with receiving, picking, staging, and put-away teams to ensure accurate ERP transactions for issues, moves, and consumption.Investigate missing, mislabeled, or damaged material and escalate as needed.Perform scheduled cycle counts in warehouse and production areas, and investigate discrepancies to assist with root-cause correction.Monitor safety stock and validate BOM usage against actual consumption.Act as the primary link between warehouse, production, planning, and quality, providing material status updates during daily production meetings.Ensure clear handoff communication between shifts.Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment while maintaining a clean, organized workspace and following OSHA safety guidelines.Participate in initiatives to improve material handling processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.Essential Skills
Experience in an HVAC or manufacturing environment.2+ years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or production support, preferably in a manufacturing or HVAC-related industry.Familiarity with ERP systems (EPICOR is a plus).Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.Knowledge of HVAC systems or manufacturing processes is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in an air-conditioned manufacturing facility with electric charging stations. The role requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch as required, and climb portable ladders. Use of Personal Protection Equipment is mandatory, and good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are essential.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
