Tool Room Attendant ($22/hr on 1st shift)

Job Description

The Tool Room Attendant is responsible for managing, issuing, organizing, and maintaining all tools and equipment used in daily production operations. This role ensures that employees have the correct tools when needed, tracks inventory levels, and maintains a clean, safe, and efficient tool room. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and communication are essential for success.

Responsibilities

Manage and organize all tools and equipment within the tool room.Issue tools to employees and ensure they have the correct equipment for their tasks.Track inventory levels and perform cycle counts to maintain accurate records.Maintain a clean and safe tool room environment.Perform data entry and use computer systems to manage inventory.Handle shipping and receiving of tools and equipment.

Essential Skills

Experience in warehouse, tool room, or inventory roles is preferred.Basic mechanical knowledge to identify tool types and proper usage.Ability to lift and move tools/equipment as required.Strong organizational and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with inventory software is a plus.Proficiency in data entry and computer skills.Experience in inventory control and general labor.
