Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will manage inventory control for two distinct products, ensuring efficient communication with vendors and meticulous oversight of purchase orders.
ResponsibilitiesManage inventory control for production of two different products.Communicate daily with vendors to maintain smooth operations.Maintain and track supplier purchase orders, ensuring all components are accounted for.Oversee the purchase order process to prevent any issues.Enter new supplier information into the database, verifying supplier certification status.Collaborate with the shipping and receiving department to ensure timely processing of orders.Essential SkillsInventory experience within a manufacturing company.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in computer operations.Additional Skills & QualificationsAt least 1 year of experience in data entry, preferably with Excel.Exceptional attention to detail, as this role involves signing off on equipment readiness for end users.Reliability is crucial for success in this role.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will have your own desk in the warehouse equipped with a computer setup. You will work closely with a colleague who will transition into taking over most of the buying responsibilities once the position is filled.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middlebury, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
