Job Description

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Inventory Clerk. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to grow within the company while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining inventory systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various administrative tasks and will assist in the warehouse as needed.

ResponsibilitiesAssist with customer interactions in the warehouse, ensuring a welcoming experience.Perform order entry and process purchase orders.Check in drivers and print invoices.Maintain inventory using an RF Scan gun and computer systems.Answer phone calls and provide information to customers.Find tasks to complete within the warehouse during slower periods.Provide exceptional customer service and support delivery drivers.Essential SkillsProficiency in customer service and ability to communicate effectively over the phone.Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems.Ability to lift 30-50 lbs if needed.Punctuality and reliability in daily attendance.Diploma or GED.Additional Skills & Qualifications6+ months of computer/inventory experience is a plus.Experience with Excel is nice to have.Basic math skills.Ability to work independently for 80% of the day.Work Environment

The role is based in an office setting within a warehouse, working primarily at a desk on a computer. The candidate will need to greet truck drivers in person when necessary. The work hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans and a t-shirt. The environment is not fast-paced, but summer is busier than winter.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
