Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Job Description

As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory across three buildings within the warehouse. You will work independently, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management processes.

ResponsibilitiesPerform cycle counts and monthly inventory audits to ensure accuracy.Manage bill of materials and update inventory records.Operate a sit-down forklift for approximately one hour per day.Utilize ERP systems to track inventory, with AS100 experience preferred.Work with spreadsheets to manage inventory data and discrepancies.Edit and track materials moving in and out of inventory.Maintain responsibility for inventory across three locations.Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies independently.Assist in unloading trucks and supporting the shipping department when necessary.Work independently with occasional collaboration with the shipping department.Essential SkillsInventory experience.Cycle counts expertise.Data entry and computer skills.ERP experience.Forklift operation experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications1-2 years of experience in inventory control.Proficiency in ERP systems (AS100 preferred).Forklift experience (sit-down forklift).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking.Strong ability to identify and correct inventory discrepancies.Experience handling large quantities of inventory (150 racks or more).Ability to work independently while also assisting other departments as needed.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will be working in an industrial manufacturing environment with loud and large equipment across three different buildings. The open-air facility can be hot during summer and cold during winter. While partnering with the shipping and sheer department occasionally, the majority of your time will be spent working independently.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
