Inventory Auditor

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Auditor Assistant supports the Operations Department in the auditing of stores on a monthly basis. The Auditor Assistant will assist the Lead Auditor with compiling reports sent daily to the Audit Supervisor and Audit Manager. The Auditor Assistant will be responsible for counting merchandise at the store level in a professional, accurate, and efficient manner with a scanning device.  The Auditor Assistant will assist the Lead Auditor in all aspects of the store audit.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Travels daily to stores to be auditedCounts all merchandise using scanning device and calculatorsOrganizes store areas to make sure of accurate countsTags areas counted and then pulls tags with store manager upon completionRetrieves information from handheld scanner and worksheetsRecords all safety related issues and store condition issuesCommunicates with Lead Auditor and Store Manager


Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED preferred.

2. Requires 1 year of inventory auditing experience or retail experience in a convenience store environment.

3. Must have a valid driver’s license with no major offenses and current liability car insurance.

4. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
