Job Description
The Inventory Audit Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality, and traceability of materials issued from the warehouse to the manufacturing floor. This role focuses on validating work order material requests, monitoring replenishment triggers, and ensuring correct backfill of materials to work centers in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The position has strong potential for growth as the organization continues its ERP/WMS transition.
Responsibilities
Analyze all materials issued from the warehouse to the manufacturing floor for accuracy against work orders.Review and validate material requests moving from the stockroom to the production floor.Ensure all material replenishment processes related to combine scans are active prior to release.Monitor combine card scans that trigger material issuance and confirm correct backfill to work centers.Verify accuracy of part numbers, lot numbers, serial numbers, and quantities requested vs. quantities issued.Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies impacting production.Work closely with warehouse, production, and materials teams to maintain inventory accuracy and process compliance.Essential Skills
Manufacturing experience (Aerospace, Automotive, Defense preferred but open to others).Strong ERP skills.WMS experience (Warehouse Management System).Work order, logistics materials management, inventory, and inventory analysis.Experience managing materials and matching to work orders to ensure accuracyAdditional Skills & Qualifications
logistics or materials management is a nice to have Inventory analysis experience.Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis of large material datasets).Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or related field preferred.Experience of several years of relevant experience is required.Work Environment
The work environment offers a flexible shift schedule with two options: First Shift from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday–Friday, 5x8) and Second Shift from 1:00 PM to 2:00 AM (Monday–Thursday, 4x10). Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
