**Job Title: Inventory Associate - Sheet Metal Mover**
**Job Description**
Support the Inventory department with materials-related functions, focusing on receiving, stocking, and issuing materials to production work centers.
**Responsibilities**
+ Receive incoming materials from external or internal suppliers.
+ Identify and stock materials with part numbers according to established procedures.
+ Issue materials to production work centers and fill out paperwork accordingly.
+ Process basic inventory transactions on the computer.
+ Perform cycle counts for areas of responsibility.
+ Expedite parts to ensure production does not stop.
+ Maintain forklift maintenance and upkeep.
+ Maintain aisles and housekeeping within the warehouse or production lines.
+ Properly identify products for packing, including Rotary items.
+ Perform packing procedures with high regard for part protection and customer expectations.
+ Barrier bag parts as required.
+ Ensure parts arrive at customers undamaged by understanding shipments and shipping methods.
+ Manage paperwork for assigned tasks, verify parts orders to pick tickets, and confirm shipments within the ERP system.
+ Work under specific deadlines for overnight shipments.
+ Use freight company computers to process orders and print manifest reports.
+ Fill out carrier BOL and other required documents.
**Essential Skills**

+ Detail-oriented and dedicated to providing high-level service.
+ Ability to prioritize assignments and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
+ Previous forklift experience and ability to pass forklift certification test.
+ Basic knowledge of inventory control methods, such as cycle counting, FIFO, and location audits.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Two to three years of inventory control experience.
+ Prior shipping or packing knowledge.

**Work Environment**
The work environment occasionally exposes employees to wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions. The noise level is typically loud, with heavy pedestrian and industrial vehicle traffic.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Oxnard, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
