RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST

Interventional Radiology Lab Radiological Technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures that will require administering of prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. The Radiological Technologist will be expected to function with independent judgment and with little or no assistance to maintain department standards.
Education/Experience: Graduate of an A.R.R.T. certified school of radiological technology. Must be ARRT registered. Must have a license to operate radiologic equipment in the State of Indiana. One year of experience in general radiography preferred. Experience in Cardiac Catheterization, Interventional Radiology Lab of Special Imaging preferred. Previous experience with implantable devices is preferred. Should have a working knowledge of Angiographic procedures and sterile techniques. CPR certification. Successful completion of basic arrhythmia course.
