As Intern - Maintenance Enginner you will take part in end-to-end structuring of production equipment in the ERP, including creation of Bills of Materials (BOM), definition of material reorder parameters, preventive Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), standard machine ledgers and technical cleaning plans for all production areas.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

Take part in the breakdown of equipment into sub-equipment, down to the single component, for each production area of the site.

Learn how to create the BOM (Bill of Materials) of the equipment in the ERP, with a tree structure down to the single component, for each production area of the site

Learn how to create into the ERP system of the reorder management parameters for all the components included in the BOMs

Support the definition of preventive SOP (Standard Operation Procedure) for each sub-equipment with periodicity according to the equipment manual, defining execution times, activities that can be performed with the machine working and activities that have be performed with the machine stopped, for all the activities foreseen by the equipment manual

Support the construction of the machine ledger in the standard format for each cell of the plant.

Participate in the definition of technical cleaning plan for the equipment of each production area of the site, establishing periodicity, execution times and necessary resources for each production area of the site

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering field, preferably in Mechanical, Energy or Management Engineering

Strong oral and written communication skills

Curious and eager to learn

Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions

Good level of English and Italian

Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

Desired Characteristics

Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical scheme of equipment (vertical CNC lathe, Milling CNC center, etc)

Ability to read and understand complex equipment use and maintenance manuals
