We are looking for a motivated Market Access Intern – Pricing to join our team in Bulgaria and gain hands‑on experience in the pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement environment.
About the Role
This role is designed for students or recent graduates who are passionate about healthcare systems, data analysis, and the impact of pricing on patient access.
As a Market Access Intern – Pricing, you will support key pricing, reimbursement, and HTA‑related activities that enable patients to access innovative medicines. You will be part of a collaborative team and work closely with Market Access, Finance, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Ethics & Compliance colleagues.
This is a 6‑month, part‑time internship suitable for individuals balancing academic or early‑career responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing & Business Case Support
Track, monitor, and research external pricing developments, including international price referencing and changes affecting IPC (International Price Comparison) impacts.Analyze pricing trends and prepare insights to support risk identification and strategic decision-making.Prepare pricing business cases for internal review, ensuring alignment with internal guidelines, methodologies, and documentation standards.HTA Support
Assist in the preparation, update, and submission of HTA dossiers, including data collection, formatting, and quality control.Help coordinate internal reviews of HTA documents and ensure compliance with scientific and regulatory requirements.Authority Communication Support
Support the preparation of communication materials for relevant national authorities (e.g., NCPR, NHIF, Ministry of Health) in a compliant and timely manner.Assist in tracking submissions, follow‑up requests, and maintaining documentation logs.Market Access Operations
Provide general support to ongoing and daily Market Access activities, including pricing maintenance, documentation updates, tracking tools, and presentation materials..Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Support the organization of cross-functional meetings, preparation of agendas, and documentation of follow‑up actions.Finance Support
In addition to Market Access and Pricing activities, the intern will also support the Finance team in key operational and analytical tasks, including:
Assisting with financial control activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance in documentation and reporting processes.Supporting planning and forecasting cycles by collecting, validating, and structuring relevant data.Contributing to regular financial reporting, preparation of summaries, and analysis of key performance indicators.Performing data analysis and supporting business case development to inform decision‑making and strategic initiatives.Qualifications & Requirements
Education
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in:Pharmacy, Medicine, Health Economics, Public HealthSkills & Competencies
Strong analytical and research skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work with data and prepare structured documentsGood communication skills (written & verbal)Proactive, responsible, and able to manage tasks independentlyTeam-oriented mindset with strong collaboration abilitiesHigh ethical standards and respect for compliance requirementsProficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Languages
