We are seeking a talented individual to join our Global Benefits Management (GBM) team at Mercer. This role will be based in Bogotá, Colombia. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The purpose of International Consultant is to provide implementation, ongoing, and renewal operational support to internal and external parties. Responsibilities include executing project management and process development tasks as part of an operational client support team. Expectations include proactively assessing business and client needs to develop process solutions and operational best practices.
We will count on you to:
Support the execution of client benefit strategy by implementing Global Benefits Management appointments and ensuring client satisfaction with underlying services. This includes managing and executing project deliverables for clients implementation, ongoing, and renewals. Support monitoring of client employee benefit programs around the world by providing aggregate tracking and reporting to brokers/clients and internal management teams. Facilitate the resolution of delays/issues. Develop action plans for tasks at risk.Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for senior account managers and clients, as well as other internal parties such as brokers on client deliverables and communications required under a Global Benefits Management appointment.Conduct regular status update calls with GBM internal teams and clients.Kick-off renewals with brokers according to clients policy renewal calendar. Collect and track client policy data via MMB systems. Sense and quality check data received from local brokers making sure that the data complete and provided on time.Develop and document process solutions for various health and benefits operational tasks. Includes designing process workflows and establishing best practices. Responsible for process execution and ensuring all standard procedures and governance controls are being followed.Communicate with internal and external partners (consultants, brokers and clients) to educate them on best practices. Serve as subject matter expert for all operational processes (implementation, ongoing, and renewals).Receive inbound inquiries from brokersProvide sales support, if needed, to more senior GBM Account Managers in the strategic selling process as delivery subject matter experts.What you need to have:
Bachelor’s Degree.3 years of experience in account management, global benefits management, customer service or customer support in global services companiesExperience dealing with corporate multinational clientsFluent in oral and written English and Spanish.Must have excellent organizational and time management skillsDetail oriented and strong project management for a complex, demanding work environmentStrong Excel skillsPositive and can-do attitudeWhat makes you stand out?
