The MDLZ North America Corporate Team is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Employee Engagement Analyst to support internal communications and engagement across the U.S. business. This early-career role is designed for a strong written and verbal communicator who can manage projects, is passionate about storytelling, and can help execute against an engagement plan that connects employees to our culture, strategy, and priorities.
This role will function as a creative content engine, owning the day-to-day execution across our editorial calendar, sourcing stories, drafting communications, and partnering across functions to ensure consistent, audience-centric messaging. The ideal candidate brings creativity, strong organizational skills, and a business-focused approach to employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Content creation and storytelling: Draft, edit, and develop internal content including email, intranet, internal social posts, campaign toolkits, video series, and more. Source stories from across the business that engage employees and translate business priorities into clear, relevant and compelling narratives.
Editorial calendar management: Manage the editorial calendar and day-to-day communications flow, helping keep messaging organized, timely, and aligned to priorities.
Cross functional collaboration: Collaborate with business unit teams to deliver consistent and effective messaging that supports engagement efforts.
Campaign and project support: Contribute to special projects that advance employee engagement, including recognition campaigns, volunteer events, and business-wide activations.
Reporting and analysis: Support measurement and reporting, tracking internal communications campaign performance, engagement data, and employee feedback to guide future efforts.
Optimization and insights: Support continuous improvement by identifying content gaps, recommending new approaches, and staying current on internal communications best practices.
What You’ll Bring
1-3 experience in internal or external communications, employee engagement, or a related field.
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content.
Project and calendar management skills with attention to timelines, details, and follow-through
Comfort navigating multiple stakeholders, timelines, and balancing input across teams
Curiosity about how internal messaging drives business impact and employee alignment
Interest in culture, employee experience, and community initiatives
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and contribute across projects
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with employee communications in large, matrixed organization preferred
Familiarity with internal content platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Viva Engage etc.) a plus
Understanding of the Consumer-Packaged Goods or Food Industry a plus
Experience with content performance tracking and reporting a plus
The base salary range for this position is $66,400 to $99,600; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
