Responsibilities What we’re looking for: Develop and execute an internal corporate communication strategy and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for internal communication for South Africa that aligns to the overarching communications strategy. Demonstrate flexibility in planning and executing communications across both internal and external channels, maintaining consistent messaging and alignment with business priorities Lead on the development and execution of EVP and Inclusion agenda in partnership with SA CHRO and HR team. This includes being responsible for setting strategy, advising on the best communication channels and creating campaigns. Lead communications with CHRO around organizational change by acting as key advisor on channels and content. Lead on Internal employee engagement strategy with the various stakeholders including social impact and HR teams. Lead on development of internal executive communication plans for SA CEO Office which includes: All CEO communications (letters, internal notes, videos, etc.) Townhalls Internal Events (meetings, etc) Lead on the strategy and execution of PEP+ internal communication plans with EMEA CSO in addition to engaging Green teams across sector and supporting BUs to create their own PEP+ internal comms plans. Lead Frontliners internal communication strategy in line with overall regional/global strategy Act as the connector point with EMEA Corporate Comms to execute global/regional internal strategies and programs at the local level and inform those global strategies/programs from their inception to capture local needs and specificities. Creates templated content (video, photo, written) to act as standard templates to use across channels. Through content creation, must be able to have basic design capabilities to design communications. Drive all social listening, data analysis and scorecarding to enable constant learning about the impact and effectiveness of internal communications. Act as internal partner to leadership team members and other functions to advise on the best way to communicate messages – advising on the right tone, channels and approach to maximize engagement (IT, Supply Chain, Finance, etc) Manage and create the right internal communications channels including the intranet mypepsico.com Lead the development, management and execution of highly visible and engaging editorial content, for internal use, across PepsiCo SA Internal Communications channels. Curating new digital platforms/ ideas and Managing PepsiCo SA Social media pages (LI): Managing the digital and social media work on identified platforms, largely LI Develop monthly content plans Curating storytelling approaches for our social media pages, content creation direction Managing the posting plan Managing the boosting and posting process in addition to securing media buying FOC opportunities Managing the CEO personal branding on social media to position him as leader in the market + Supporting Leadership team LI profiles: Developing social media strategy for CEO Working on posting calendar Developing content & assets (videos, collage, static posts, greeting cards, etc.…) Working on content calendar for Leadership team Qualifications What will qualify you for the role: Communications / Marketing Degree Additional Digital Communications Certificate or Diploma would be advantageous Understanding of the SA Business, its diversity and specific needs. Proven ability to drive an effective and innovative internal comms agenda in SA with multiple stakeholders and collaborators and get results. Extensive experience of advising, and influencing, senior executive level management on business communications agenda with proven results An excellent track record of developing communications tools and programmes to engage employees across diverse functions Ability to think strategically and creatively and to be agile as business needs change Ability to inspire and work with teams, with varying complex challenges, spread across geographies Effective multi-tasker with strong time management skills and an ability to adapt quickly to changing environments. Knowledge of graphic design and experience producing corporate communications materials Strong communicator and story-teller. Excellent people/collaborative skills - ability to set the agenda and lead in an inclusive manner – must want to make people follow him/her and deliver their best as a team.
