Position Summary
The Value, Access & Pricing (VAP) Analytics Intern will support key initiatives across Pricing, Market Access, and Account Management. This internship provides a hands‑on opportunity to learn how pricing and market access strategies are developed within a global biopharmaceutical company. The intern will work with datasets, assist with analytical modeling, and help transform data into clear insights that support pricing, contracting, reimbursement, and forecasting decisions.
Primary Responsibilities
Analytical & Modeling Support
Assist with collecting, validating, and analyzing datasets related to the Grifols product portfolio. Support pricing and contracting activities, including bid proposal analysis.Strategic Pricing & Market Access
Help evaluate prior contracts through simple ROI reviews, customer‑level pricing assessments, and profitability checks. Support competitive benchmarking by researching competitor pricing, payer trends, and industry updates.Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Communication
Assist in developing dashboards, reports, and business review materials to monitor performance and track key market trends. Work with team members across VAP, Brand and other departments to support ongoing projects.Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Required
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to interpret data and summarize findings clearly and concisely. Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Applicants for the internship should be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field with a GPA of 3.0 or better.Preferred
Basic understanding of the U.S. payer, reimbursement, or market access environment. Knowledge or exposure to pharmaceutical pricing, market access concepts, or healthcare‑related coursework.
