**Position Overview** **Power Your Future with Qualus** in our T&D Canada business as an Co-Op Student- Transmission Line Engineer. Reporting to the Transmission Department Manager, this position will be in our Vancouver, BC office, or in the Calgary, AB area. If you have a successful track record and thrive on challenges in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you.   **Responsibilities** + Learning and understanding work process flows as well as engineering protocols. + Supporting Senior Engineers in preparation of reports; including, related engineering calculations. + Carrying out design activities under the supervision and guidance of senior Engineers. + Assisting more experienced technical Engineers with specific aspects of project work. + Providing support to as well as developing and establishing communication with internal team to ensure that work flows smoothly. **Qualifications** + Successful completion of at least first year of an undergraduate degree program in Electrical or Structural Engineering. + Experience and knowledge of engineering design packages such as AutoCAD or MicroStation. + Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. + Familiarity with Google Earth, Visual Basic, or XML. \#LI-MG1 **Company Overview** Qualus is a leading pure-play power solutions firm and innovator at the forefront of power infrastructure transformation, with differentiated capabilities across grid modernization, resiliency, security, and sustainability.
