**POSITION SUMMARY:**
The Supply Chain Planning intern will work cross-functionally with various departments understanding roles and responsibilities and create best practices for the organization. This position will support Supply Chain Planning in day to day activities, as well as project work.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Map out processes for various NPI functions including purchase reqs, NPI trackers, and first article trackers
+ Work cross functionally to determine duplicate work throughout departments
+ Research and recommend best practices to streamline processes
+ Creation of roles and responsibilities
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Ability to communicate both written and verbal effectively
+ Ability to solve problems
+ Ability to work in a team environment
+ Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment
+ Proficient in Microsoft Suite
**WORK ENVIRONMENT:**
+ Location: Eden Prairie, MN
+ Environment: Works in a noisy fast-paced office environment
**EXPERIENCE:**
+ No previous experience required
+ SAP experience a plus
**EDUCATION:**
+ Currently enrolled in Supply Chain Management, Management, Business, or related classes
**COMPENSATION:**
_As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $22 to $30 per hour._
