Job Description
The Quantity Surveyor Intern supports the cost management and contract administration functions of construction projects. This role is ideal for students seeking a credit-bearing internship in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related fields seeking hands-on experience in the construction industry.
About the Role
Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
Support the preparation of tender documents and contracts.
Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings.
Help monitor project costs and ensure alignment with budgets.
Assist in evaluating contractor progress claims and variations.
Maintain documentation and records related to cost and contract management.
About You
Currently pursuing a degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with AutoCAD or cost estimating software is a plus.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
