Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing your personal employment opportunities, particularly through involvement in project‑execution follow‑up activities.

The work model for the role is: hybrid.

This role supports the Project Engineering team within the Automation Energy division, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Collaborating with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines.Monitoring engineering execution metrics for international projects, including tracking and consolidating engineering hours to support accurate project follow‑up.Preparing periodic reports on engineering hours executed for international projects, contributing to internal visibility and decision‑making.Managing purchase orders related to international projects, ensuring budgets remain updated, properly aligned with execution plans, and maintaining an accurate backlog overview.Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.Seeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.

Qualifications for the role

You are a student of Industrial/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields.Knowledge of PLCs and DCS is a plus (not mandatory).You are comfortable communicating fluently in English.You are engaged in the Process Automation market.You demonstrate proactivity, teamwork, and a strong willingness to learn.
