You'll have hands-on opportunities to work closely with engineers and architects, gaining valuable insights into system design and development. Some experiences may include: + Leverage programming skills/knowledge to design and implement complex features, optimize performance, and ensure code efficiency + Assist in analyzing complex systems, identifying issues, and developing solutions to improve application performance and efficiency + Explore new tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve digital solutions and drive innovation within the development team + Leverages expertise to design and implement efficient and scalable solutions that meet business requirements and quality standards. + Contributes to solution design and architecture discussions, collaborating with architects and senior engineers. + Provides input on technical feasibility, performance optimization, and scalability considerations to ensure that the overall solution meets the desired objectives. + Participates in code reviews and ensures adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines. + Communicates and coordinates with team members to ensure alignment, provide technical insights, and contribute to decision-making processes. + Contributes to the adoption of best practices, new technologies, and tools to enhance productivity, efficiency, and code quality. + Participates in knowledge sharing activities, such as code reviews, tech talks, and workshops, to foster a culture of learning and collaboration within the team. + Works with other developers and team members to implement complex features, enhance existing functionality, and ensure the delivery of high-quality code. + Provides guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them improve their technical skills and grow professionally. + Leverage Microsoft Copilot and Agile methodologies to streamline workflows, enhance team collaboration, and drive data-informed decision-making. **Required Qualifications** + This position is fully remote and candidates may reside anywhere in the continental United States however, selected candidate will need to be able to work a schedule based on the Eastern Time Zone. + 2-3 years’ work/school project experience + Adept at problem solving and decision making skills + Adept at collaboration and teamwork + Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills + Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills + Adept at business intelligence + Java/Springboot coding experience **Preferred Qualifications** + Agile Experience + Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g GitHub Copilot, Google Gemini, etc;) to enhance coding efficiency, improve code quality ​ **Education** + Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification/equivalent experience Note: Proceeding through the candidate screening process requires permission to share personally identifying information (name, contact information, resume) with Neurodiversity In The Workplace, an external partner that designs skill-based interviews and supports.
