Zions Bancorporation is seeking a skilled and motivated intern to join the Treasury Management team and support technology‑driven projects that enhance internal tools and employee productivity. Responsibilities may include designing and improving Microsoft 365 solutions, building custom applications with Power Apps, developing automated workflows using Power Automate, and creating scripts and utilities in Python to streamline business processes. This role provides hands‑on experience with modern automation and digital‑workflow platforms and is ideal for a candidate who is curious, adaptable, and passionate about learning new technologies.

 

Responsibilities Include:

All stages of technology solution development including design, development, testing, documentation, and maintenanceSolution development using Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and SharePoint OnlineBusiness process analysis to identify opportunities for automation and optimizationIntegration between various internal systems and Microsoft servicesCollaboration with business line managers, front-line professionals, and developers from around the organization to create intuitive and robust applicationsEnd user support by troubleshooting issues related to scripts, workflows, and applicationsEnsure solutions follow security, compliance, and best-practice coding standardsOther duties as assigned

Ideal Qualifications:

Current, upper division student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or other related degreeMust be creative, innovative, and a self-starter capable of effectively working virtuallyCapability in Python and/or other programming languages, with experience using standard libraries and writing clean, modular codeExperience working with AI tools or agents to support automation, process improvement, documentation, or solution developmentStrong understanding of core computer science concepts (data structures, algorithms, APIs, version control)Agile development methodologiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneouslyExcellent problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office 365 applicationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with othersDetail-oriented with solid organizational skills

 

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $20.00 to $25.00 hourly depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
