As our industry continues to evolve, and we serve more customers around the world, it’s our people who drive our success as a leading global dairy processor. The Intern, Quality Assurance Operations will learn and practice the day-to-day work to provide support in the development and management of quality and food safety programs at Saputo. The intern will work with site QA advisors to manage projects for the assigned facilities. 

The Internship will begin on May 11th and end August 14th, 2026.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER...  

Perform data review and coordination of cheese cooling temperature study in Calgary/Tavistock and in conjunction with the bulk cheese plants. 

Support with the coordination of bulk cheese lactose testing / compiling historical testing data. 

Assist with Complaint review and FMRA tracking.  

Ad-hoc requests and Special Projects. 

YOU ARE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU... 

Are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Science Laboratory Technology or a similar discipline relevant to Food Sciences(Process/Chemical/Biochemical/ Food Science or Engineering);  

Have previous related internship experience (an asset);  

Experience working in a laboratory (Laboratory Testing, Data Analysis, Food Safety Inspection/ Auditing etc);  

Previous experience in food or dairy industry, milk and dairy chemistry (an asset);  

Demonstrate strong proficiency with Microsoft Office computer applications and effective communication skills;   

Have strong time management skills: you will manage priorities and multiple projects at a time all while ensuring to meet deadlines.
