Intermediate Test Technician

The Test Technician will run test to validate servers and systems to include thermal, shock and vibration testing.  The Technician will be required to meet or exceed production schedules and deadlines.  Additionally, the Technician will follow all testing policies, practices and procedures in order to comply with stakeholders’ compliance.  

 

Job Responsibilities:

Run testing and validation of servers and systems to include thermal, shock, vibration, and environmental tests. Perform required tuning by debugging and troubleshooting complex test elements, as well as assists others in this area. Follows all testing policies, practices, and procedures and ensures fellow team members, customers, and stakeholders are in compliant.  Record, analyze, and report test results, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure reliability. Collaborate with engineering teams to refine test procedures and support product design improvements will be working on Rack Mount Servers.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of related experience in testing and troubleshooting server systems. Strong understanding of quality standards and procedures for testing and calibration processes. Knowledge of server hardware components and functionality. Strong understanding of Environmental Testing and screening processes. Experience with software programs such as Oracle, Jira, and Jama. Proficiency in operating test systems. Cable Knowledge Good communications verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and requirements. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Demonstrate initiative, self-motivation, and a commitment to continuous learning. Associate degree in electronics, engineering technology, or a related field.
