**Job Title: Interiors Mechanic** **Job Description** Join our team as an Interiors Mechanic, where you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of aircraft seating and interior monuments. This includes passenger and crew seats, galleys, lavatories, class dividers, overhead bins, and side walls. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers by accurately following blueprints and schematics. **Responsibilities** + Repair aircraft seating, including passenger and crew seats. + Repair interior monuments such as galleys, lavatories, and class dividers. + Disassemble components, determine malfunctions, and make repairs. + Read inspection reports and rework blueprints to determine the type of repair needed, tools required, and plan sequence of operations. + Conduct sheet metal fabrication according to drawings. + Perform composite and laminate repairs. + Reassemble components to meet company, customer, and FAA standards. + Accurately read and follow schematics, blueprints, and work orders. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in mechanical repairs. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Experience with aircraft interior repairs. + Knowledge of aviation standards. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience using hand tools. + Experience using power tools. + Experience using finishing tools. **Work Environment** Work in a dynamic environment where you will use various tools and equipment to perform repairs. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to safety standards. You will be working on-site at the facility, ensuring high-quality repairs that meet FAA standards. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of valencia, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
