Interior Designer - Workplace

An Architecture and Interior Design firm in Chicago is looking to add an Interior Designer to their Workplace team!

Job Description:

Coordinate all phases of the design processGenerate creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a projectTranslate concepts and information into imagesExecute the process of preparing and completing usable construction document detailing solutionsCoordinate the selection of materials, furnishings, fixtures, and equipmentManage contract administration responsibilitiesAssist with creation and management of project schedulesAssist with leading project studio team members, leveraging strengths, and providing mentorshipExecute coordination and integration of architectural and consultant documentsAttend and conduct presentationsManage client relations

Qualifications:

Degree from a CIDA accredited Interior Design program or equivalent7+ years of experience in commercial design; Workplace project experience requiredDisplay strong design portfolio showing strengths in conceptual design, space planning skills, and detailingRevit proficiencyThorough understanding of how a drawing set goes togetherInterest in sustainable designProfessional registration Demonstrated experience coordinating and leading projects teamsJob Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
