Interactive 3D content specialist
What you will do: + Build and own the 3D asset pipeline, converting CAD to optimized, models and animations for web, XR, and training tools. + Create and maintain reusable 3D libraries with standards for naming, versioning, and metadata to maximize scalability. + Define standard work and vendor workflows to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency across internal and external teams. + Collaborate with Learning Solutions and XR Product Owner to influence technology choices and asset strategy. + Continuously improve workflows and tools, driving innovation and best practices for performance and visual fidelity. Who you are: + Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Computer Graphics, or a related field. + Minimum 3 years’ experience in 3D modeling software such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max. + Minimum 3 years’ experience with CAD software and converting CAD files to 3D models. + Minimum 3 years’ experience applying animation principles and creating 3D animations. + Familiarity with game engines (Unity and Unreal Engine) and XR technology applications. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: + The role may require occasional travel (5%) for on-site project work, customer meetings, and industry events. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Advanced modeling and animation in additional 3D software beyond Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max. + Deep understanding of Unreal Engine workflows for 3D asset integration. + Experience with CAD modeling and complex product assemblies.
