The Integration and Test Technician will be responsible for the assembly and testing of complex electronic systems, specifically focusing on chassis hardware assembly built from drawings. This role requires expertise in wire crimping, routing, and wiring installations using diagrams and circuit layouts. The ideal candidate will have experience assembling and wiring equipment racks and a strong knowledge of test equipment such as DMMs, power meters, and oscilloscopes.
ResponsibilitiesComplete chassis hardware assembly from engineering drawings.Perform wire crimping and routing tasks accurately.Conduct wiring installations using wiring diagrams and circuit layouts.Assemble and wire racks of equipment.Utilize test equipment, including DMMs, power meters, and oscilloscopes effectively.Work with small parts and perform repetitive tasks with precision.Execute complex electronic assembly tasks.Troubleshoot SCBs, chassis, servers, and racks to support engineering and customer service.Adjust and replace defective or improperly functioning components using various tools, including crimpers and soldering irons.Essential SkillsProficiency in troubleshooting electronic and electrical components.Experience with test equipment such as DMMs, power meters, and oscilloscopes.Ability to perform soldering tasks.Knowledge of electronics, electrical systems, schematics, and mechanical components.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with assembling and wiring racks of equipment.Ability to work from schematics and engineering drawings.Work EnvironmentThe position is located on the production floor with a small team of about six technicians. The team is close-knit, often engaging in light-hearted interactions, creating a friendly and collaborative work environment. The role offers opportunities for upward movement, with many technicians advancing to engineering positions. The team is involved in the production and prototype development of electronic products, including chassis, racks, Dell's, signal conditioning boards (SCBs), and input/output (I/O) panels.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
