**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Integrated Laboratory Solutions Technician, you will support a pharmaceutical client with maintaining and managing lab development equipment.
This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Ensure prompt, flexible, customer-focused equipment support. Maintain compliance with statutory, regulatory, and engineering standards.
+ Perform Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment including Tunnel Washer, Autoclave, Filler/Capper, Parts Washer, Hydrogen Peroxide Chamber and Various Development lab Equipment (Non-GxP)
+ Responsible for identifying and ordering parts used to perform maintenance activities and help facility coordinators maintain shop inventory.
+ Provide a flexible and accurate service to enable the team to achieve key deliverables.
+ Act as a point of contact for the client customer base within site laboratories to support the smooth running of service requests and service delivery.
+ Assist management with device calibration and return, document control, and verification.
+ Identify and report deferred maintenance, and its impact, in terms of risk, reliability, efficiency, man hours, energy use, water use, environmental emissions, utility costs and cost.
+ Manage and improve the service logging process and asset database. Create, and review supporting documentation like service reports.
+ Track the performance of the scientific equipment and systems using KPIs to suggest improvements and influence change.
+ Support management by visiting onsite vendors alongside the client metrology team.
+ Maintain systems to keep accurate records of all equipment-related faults. Support data-related initiatives such as contract renewal, asset replacement, etc.
+ Maintain the proper level of documentation to effectively demonstrate that facilities, plant, and equipment is properly maintained, complies with all QEH&S requirements, ensures compliance to good documentation practices and is consistent with approved maintenance programs.
+ Attend client meetings to review ongoing performance, areas for continual improvement.
+ Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
+ Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
+ Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Experience working in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical R&D or manufacturing environment preferred with experience on equipment including Tunnel Washer, Autoclave, Filler/Capper, Parts Washer, Hydrogen Peroxide Chamber, and various development lab equipment.
+ Experience in Lab Gowning Procedures and GMP Documentation requirements.
+ Knowledge of Health & Safety and Lock Out procedures is preferred.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
+ Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
+ Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
