**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Integrated Laboratory Solutions Appretence, you will assist with the execution of all appropriate functions associated with the reliable maintenance of utility systems.
This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.
**What You’ll Do:**
• Ensure prompt, flexible, customer-focused equipment support. Maintain compliance with statutory, regulatory, and engineering standards.
• Observe device calibration and return, document control, and verification.
• Work within the service logging process and asset database. Ensure supporting documentation is accurate.
• Review the performance of the scientific equipment and systems. Work with the team to suggest improvements.
• Support management by visiting onsite vendors alongside the client metrology team.
• Support data-related initiatives such as contract renewal, asset replacement, etc.
• Attend client meetings to review ongoing performance, areas for continual improvement.
• Follow a set procedure in the performance of repetitive tasks or job activities.
• Impact through methods, tasks, and duties which are clearly defined and followed with little to no discretion.
**What You’ll Need:**
• High School Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year college program or technical school.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to develop skills to perform basic activities in own job.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Simple math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
