We are seeking a talented individual to join our Analytics Solutions team at Marsh Risk, a Marsh business. This role will be based in Mumbai / Noida / Gurugram. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As part of the Analytics Solutions team, you will perform and develop a wide variety of financial, actuarial, and statistical analyses to help clients understand and manage their risks. You will work on complex risk transfer solutions, predictive modeling, reserving, and other actuarial specialties. Reporting lines and responsibilities increase with seniority, from supporting analytics development to leading projects and managing teams. You will have opportunities to grow along both technical and management career tracks.

We will count on you to:

Perform actuarial, financial, and statistical analysis to assess and quantify client risks.Develop, assist, or lead the creation of analytics-based tools and models for risk assessment and mitigation.Support client engagements by preparing reports, presentations, and communicating findings effectively.Conduct research to improve analytics techniques, processes, and outputs.Collaborate with internal teams and global colleagues to deliver client solutions.Participate in or lead projects, with increasing responsibility at higher levels.Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members (applicable at senior levels).Identify opportunities for new business and contribute to client relationship management (senior levels).Drive innovation and process improvements in analytics and reporting tools (senior levels).

What you need to have: 

Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Completion of actuarial exams aligned with role seniority (minimum 3 exams for entry-level, up to 7+ for senior management).Programming skills in Python and/or R, including experience with data visualization and report generation.Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (including VBA) and PowerPoint.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Strong commercial acumen to balance analytics depth with business needs.Strong knowledge of actuarial pricing, reserving, and risk transfer techniques.Proficiency in statistical modelling, including GLM and machine learning methods (e.g., decision trees, random forest, XGBoost).Initiative to improve analytics techniques, processes, and outputs.Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.Proven leadership and project management experience (for senior roles).Experience with advanced analytics techniques such as natural language processing, web scraping, or API integration (preferred at senior levels).Ability to coach and mentor junior colleagues effectively.
