Insurance Operations Specialist

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Placement and Policy Servicing team at Marsh BCS. This role will be based in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This position is responsible for initiating the renewal process, requesting quotes, generating comparative analyses, and facilitating policy issuance by coordinating placement and quote slips between Client Management teams and Insurers. As an entry-level team player, the Operations Specialist will leverage their educational background and/or relevant experience to develop professional skills while collaborating with key stakeholders and experienced team members.

We will count on you to:

Manage the initiation of the renewal process for insurance policies.

Request quotes from insurers to support the renewal and placement of policies.

Generate comparative analyses to evaluate different insurance options and provide insights for decision-making.

Send placement and quote slips to insurers to facilitate timely policy issuance.

Conduct thorough policy checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.

Raise billing requests to ensure proper invoicing and financial tracking.

Assist in maintaining operational systems and tools, providing support to enhance efficiency.

Perform timely and accurate production/processing of complex documents/information to support team objectives.

Adhere to company policies and contributes to the achievement of O&T Service Level Agreements (SLA). Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and business objectives.

What you need to have: 

Basic understanding of non-life insurance concepts such as policy coverage, renewals, endorsements, and quotes gained through education, training, or work experience

Ability to work with operational systems and data. Comfortable using MS Excel, Outlook, and workflow or case management tools to track requests and documents

Strong attention to detail when preparing, reviewing, and validating policy documents, quote slips, and comparative reports

Exposure to non-life insurance operations, policy servicing, or placement support in a brokerage environment, insurance providers, or shared-services

Experience creating or reviewing comparative analyses, policy schedules, or insurer quotes

Familiarity with SLA-driven environments, ticketing/workflow tools, or quality and compliance checks
