Insurance Claims Analyst Job ID 255524 Posted 28-Jan-2026 Service line Corporate Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Legal Location(s) Remote - US - Remote - US - United States of America **About The Role** As a CBRE Insurance Claims Analyst, you are responsible for the accurate and timely entry, maintenance and review of insurance claims within our claims management system. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data integrity, supporting claims operations and enabling accurate reporting and analysis. The Insurance Claims Analyst will also assist the responsible Insurance Risk Management Claims Director and team with the following: the reporting, oversight, direction, and overall management of the day to day domestic and general liability/casualty claims function within the Company. Location Preference: Tri-State Area **What You’ll Do** + Manages, organizes and retains insurance claims records (electronic files), submissions and other correspondence within RMIS system (and as otherwise appropriate) with a high degree of accuracy. + Assist with coding and coding audit of various claims. Assists in preparation of dashboard and other reports regarding claim analytics, metrics, trends, costs, emerging liability and other considerations. + Review incoming claim documentation to ensure completeness and consistency. Assisting responsible claim team members in the initial reporting and management of liability claims for all commercial insurer and captive insurance programs. + Liaises between internal and external customers, insurance carriers, insurance carrier assigned defense counsel, and brokers to support the daily administration of claims arising from various casualty insurance programs. Addresses and resolves all requests for information, documentation and discovery requests, and responds timely and efficiently. + Documents and communicates claim activity timely and effectively and in a manner, which supports the proper outcome of the claim file, including ensuring timely and adequate reporting and reserves, proper investigation, overall claim management, and settlement authorization consults. + Partners with internal and external counsel in setting and pursuing effective and cost-efficient litigation strategies for claims in litigation and provides settlement authority within stated authority level. + Conducts claim review audits of carriers, TPAs, vendors and internal business parties to ensure claims reporting and handling standards and compliance. Where applicable, provides TPA and claim vendor oversight. + Reviews insurance policy wording to ensure understanding and proper application of coverage. + Collaborates with team to identify claim trends to identify for internal stakeholders. + Ensures adherence to and compliance with CBRE internal protocols and procedures. **What You'll Need** To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Up to 3 years of claims handling and/or claims management experience ideally including handling complex or high value claims, from initial report to closure + Experience with carrier claim systems and/or RMIS systems (Origami preferred) to manage claims and reporting to senior management. + Technical knowledge of casualty/liability claims and the insurance space. + Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills. Strong organizational, interpretive and analytical skills. + Proficient in use of Microsoft Office required, specifically, advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. + Advanced data analytics / modeling skills required. + Ability to multitask and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal and external clients. + Ability to effectively present information. + Ability to meet short deadlines and handle multiple tasks to a high degree. + Ability to work in a team environment. + Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. The minimum salary for the Insurance Claims Analyst position is $85,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Insurance Claims Analyst is $95,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
