Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a talented junior Associate Attorney to join their Managed Care Team as part of their Insurance & Reinsurance Litigation Practice Group in Florida. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career litigator who's interested in insurance and/or health sciences matters to work on sophisticated commercial litigation alongside an accomplished team.

 

 

Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing 2–4 years of substantive experience with complex commercial litigation and arbitration Demonstrated interest in insurance and/or health sciences is strongly preferred Managed care experience is a plus, but not required Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong public speaking ability Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, thoroughness, and compliance in all legal matters Collaborative, collegial, and committed to professional excellence  

 

Key Responsibilities

Counsel insurance companies, health maintenance organizations, and claims administrators on sophisticated managed care issues Represent clients in complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters, providing support throughout the process Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and other litigation documents Conduct legal research, develop case strategy, and support trial preparation Collaborate with partners and team members on case analysis and execution

Compensation & Benefits
