**Job Title: Insulation Technician** **Job Description** This position involves insulating both residential and commercial buildings, with a focus on residential areas. The role requires working with various types of insulation, such as spray foam and rigid foam boards. **Responsibilities** + Insulate attics, walls, basements, crawl spaces, and other residential areas using appropriate insulation materials. + Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas and prepare surfaces before installation. + Operate tools and equipment safely, including blowers, sprayers, and cutting tools. + Remove old insulation when necessary and dispose of materials properly. + Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations. + Communicate effectively with homeowners and team members. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment. + Document work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of experience in insulation in residential areas. + Proficiency in insulation setup, including plastic installation. + Ability to operate hand tools and power tools efficiently. + Knowledge of drywall and flooring techniques. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience in insulation or construction is preferred. + Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. + Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions. + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. + Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values safety, quality, and effective communication.
