🧰 Insulation Installer – Job Description 🎯 Position Summary

Insulation Installers are responsible for installing a variety of insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings to improve energy efficiency, comfort, and safety. The role involves working with fiberglass, cellulose, spray foam, and other insulation products while following company standards and safety guidelines.

🔧 Key ResponsibilitiesInstall insulation materials (fiberglass batts, blown-in cellulose, spray foam, etc.) in attics, walls, crawl spaces, and basementsMeasure and cut insulation to fit around pipes, wires, and structural componentsLoad and unload materials, tools, and equipmentOperate blowers, sprayers, and other installation machinerySeal gaps, cracks, and joints using caulk, foam, or other air‑sealing productsRemove old or damaged insulation when requiredMaintain clean and safe job sitesFollow OSHA and company safety proceduresCommunicate with supervisors, homeowners, and contractors as neededComplete daily paperwork, job logs, or digital reports💪 Skills & QualificationsAbility to work in tight spaces, attics, and varying temperaturesComfortable with ladders, power tools, and physical laborBasic math and measurement skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a teamValid driver’s license (often required)Prior insulation or construction experience is helpful but not always required🏋️ Physical RequirementsLift 50+ poundsStand, kneel, crawl, and climb for extended periodsWork in dusty, hot, or cold environmentsWear PPE such as masks, gloves, and protective clothing💼 Typical Work EnvironmentResidential homes (new construction + existing homes)Commercial buildingsIndoor/outdoor job sites

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olathe, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
