In this key maintenance role you will responsible for the safe and efficient programming and maintenance of the plant equipment. This role will perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, repair equipment failures, and resolve concerns at all locations to ensure maximum production quantity and quality. The Instrumentation Programmer is based out of Kearney and will be dispatched to locations as needed, with assignments approved by the Engineering Manager. Responsibilities:Develop and implement programming solutions for instrumentation systems at all company facilitiesPerform preventative and proactive maintenance tasks in a safe and efficient mannerPerform inspections and adjustments on equipmentCollaborate with the Engineering Manager to determine project priorities and dispatch requirementsEnsure all instrumentation programming meets company standards and regulatory requirementsLearn the plant process for a better understanding of how the equipment is utilizedTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to instrumentation programming and other technical problemsProvide technical support and training to facility personnel as needed  Qualifications and Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentExperience with electrical and instrumentation installation, troubleshooting and repair. Proven experience in instrumentation programmingStrong knowledge of relevant programming languages and toolsExperience in operation of an ethanol plant, manufacturing, and production helpfulKnowledge and ability with basic office computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications.Learn and effectively use Computer Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) systems and DCS system. Programming based in Logix Your New Organization:You’ll be part of a respected ethanol manufacturer with multiple locations in the area.
