Instrument Superintendent

KBR is providing Project Management Services encompassing Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning phase execution supporting KBR’s client Sonangol’s multi-billion-dollar grass roots Lobito Refinery Project in Angola Africa.

KBR is looking for an Instrumentation Superintendent to be responsible for the daily operations for site development on the Sonangol project in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company. This role will supervise and provide oversight of the daily project teams by providing input to identify key success factors, daily efforts of the technical and administrative, while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and schedule.

Responsibilities:

Early site instrumentation establishment and site improvement.Subcontractor oversight, shop drawing review and processing for instrumentation systems.Documentation of contract changesDaily communication with owners, architects, engineer, and other stakeholdersMonitor EPC contractors’ instrumentation installation worksAll required owner and in-house reporting

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in construction management, engineering, or related field5 + years of progressive experience in heavy civil constructionsMust have experience working in field construction environment
