Performs investigative research in the particular area(s) of study and publishes and presents data in a timely manner. Works collaboratively with an investigator, associate investigator, and/or assistant investigator in facilitating scientific research. Participates in various types of institute and community activities.
Job Responsibility
Provides strategic advice and guidance to the Faculty Research function. Conducts independent research and/or development work as part of a major research project. Responsible for the collection and analysis of research data related to specific project; interprets test results and makes recommendations. Submits manuscripts and abstracts for publication/presentation. Performs a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, correspondence, attending meetings, database maintenance, maintaining records, charts, etc. Responsible for all other activities, clinical and administrative, as appropriate. Supervises and provides technical directions to research staff. May apply for grant funding and/or patents as appropriate. Performs related duties as required. Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Science required. Faculty appointment by the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research Appointments and Promotions Committee, required. 10+ years of relevant experience, required.*Additional Salary Detail
