Instructional Designer
Job Title: Instructional DesignerJob Description

The Instructional Designer will design and develop engaging, process-based training courses based on a role-based training curriculum. Utilizing the ADDIE principles of instructional design, the designer will analyze, design, develop, and deliver courses for a multi-product implementation, focusing on products such as Bullhorn, PeopleSoft, Salesforce Lightning, and Oracle Fusion.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Implementation Training Lead and Professional Development Leads to align training programs with business objectives.Work cross-collaboratively with Professional Development Teams, product and process SMEs, and business partners to perform needs analysis and define training solutions.Evaluate process workflows and existing training materials to integrate relevant content into training courses.Identify suitable learning solutions for diverse learners, such as webinars, interactive modules, videos, online courses, and job aids.Create immersive learning experiences that engage learners and enable them to effectively utilize new software and business processes.Organize content to be easily processed by learners using storytelling, scenarios, layout, and activities.Stage training databases to reinforce designed training programs.Communicate ideas and thoughts effectively to match the audience and delivery method.Recommend and create content for in-app guidance solutions, such as WalkMe.Advise leaders and peers on innovative learning strategies.Organize, prioritize, and implement multiple projects within established timelines.Manage all aspects of assigned projects, communicating regularly with the Program Manager and stakeholders.Produce high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced environment.Develop assessment methods to foster learner development and mastery of learning goals.
Essential SkillsMinimum 5+ years in Instructional Design, Training and Development, Organizational Development, or related field.Experience with Articulate Story Line & Rise.Experience creating training that incorporates process, systems, and hands-on exercises.Experience designing technical or system training for enterprise-wide technology implementations.Experience working in a fast-paced team environment.
Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred BA Degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or related discipline.Experience creating content in an in-app guidance tool, such as WalkMe.Experience with Degreed or other LMS software.Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Movavi or similar video recording tool, and screen grab techniques and software.Experience using Salesforce Lightning.Experience working in an Agile Development framework.
Work Environment

This is a fully remote position requiring candidates to be based in EST or CST time zones. The role offers a 12-month+ opportunity with numerous internal growth prospects.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Hanover, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
